Look like a model

It’s not what you’ve got, it’s how you use it. Here is some model advice to help you make the most of your best assets.

Red Carpet Glamour

Create a glamourous look that is worthy of appearing on the red carpet following these 4 easy steps.

1. Create a sharp side part. Let the front section of hair/fringe sweep over the face.

2. Pull remaining hair over to one side tightly.

    3. Lightly tong hair and pin some curls and secure using Elite bobby pins and hairspray.

     4. To complete the look, fasten in Elite fashion comb on the side.

Create Cascading Curls

Straight off the set of Gossip Girl, simply follow these easy steps to channel your inner Upper East Side fashionista by embracing soft curls and a signature headband for hairstyle Blair Waldorf would be jealous of.

1. Create volume in hair by using a blow dryer to dry mousse into hair

2. Section off hair and work through each section with curling tongs
    3. To get the best curls, alternate the way you wrap hair around the barrel of the curler (meaning wrap it once one way and then once the other way).

    4. Part the front sections of hair into a middle part. These front sections are curled backwards (away from the face).

5. Once complete, blow dry and brush curls lightly and appy Elite Fashion Headband.

How to create an ultra feminine up-do

Models put a lot of time and effort into looking after their hair - regular cuts and treatments, all in an effort to look chic and stylish when heading to castings. A popular look is ‘sexy bed hair’ which looks laid back and ultra feminine. To create, follow these simple steps:

Step 1.  Create definition by misting the roots with a volumizing spray. Roughly dry off the hair and backcomb the root using an Elite comb, for added lift and greater intensity at the root.
Step 2. Now that your hair is volumized, pull it back into a low, loose ponytail and secure with an Elite elastic band.

Step 3. Grab various pieces of hair from the ponytail and secure them with bobby pins to create a messy look. Tuck some of the ends in, and also pull a few out - experiment with the amount of hair you keep out and pull back.

Step 4. Pull some pieces of hair out around the face to soften the look, but also keep it looking edgy. For a glamorous look, lightly twirl the pieces around your finger to create soft waves.

Step 5. Mist with hair spray.

 Model Brows

1. To easily find out where the line of your eyebrow should end, line up a pencil at the end of the nose, towards the corner of the eye.

2. The best shape is the natural line that your eyebrow already is. If your eyebrows are extremely thick, a very thin eyebrow will not work for you. Work with what you have.  Softer facial features suit a thinner, more elegant eyebrow, while a strong bone structure is the perfect face for a thicker, stronger eyebrow.

3.   To avoid creating a straight looking brow, do not tweeze above the eyebrow. You create an arch by tweezing underneath, never on top. Tweeze stray hairs and create definition in the brows using Elite Professional Tweezers.

4. If your brows are particularly long use Elite Eyebrow Brush to comb the hairs upward, then very carefully use Elite Professional Scissors to trim the ends to ensure they stay neat and in place.
